The Pakistani International T20 team is selected by Pakistan Cricket Board. PCB announced officially Pakistan Cricket Team for World Cup T20 in India 2016 as well as same team will play for upcoming T20 Asia Cup 2016 in Bangladesh. The Selectors are selected four new players in team, they will play for International team T20 first time these are "Khurram Manzor-Batsman, Babar Azam-Batsman, Mohammad Nawaz-All Rounder, Rumman Raees- Fast Bowler" These players make their place in International Paki team with their whole heart efforts and by their performance in current matches of T20 PSL HBL at Dubai. The Selector selected 15 players team as under:-

The team management and skipper were consulted by the selectors, and all concerned gave their consent in this regard, Chief Selector Rasheed said in a statement. The T20 team has been selected keeping in mind the conditions during Asia Cup and World T20 and the recent performances of some players in domestic and A team tours. The team is a fine blend of experience and youth and the selectors believe that team will do well in both tournaments.

Ahmed Shehzad as Selfi boy and Umar Gul could not impress to selectors and their dream is over for playing world T20 in upcomming events in India and Bangladesh. Even Shehzad done well in PSL HBL, he scored 71 out of 46 but still could not impress to the selector from his previous performances but new players Mohammad Nawaz, Ruman Raes, Babar Azam and Khuram Manzoor done well in PSL HBL and it is admirable so they are in eye of selectors.
